Uriell and Jeff, our dear friends who live in Breckenridge, CO, (and are some of the most badass people we know) were destined to add a dog to their adventurous and loving new family. Uriell has always been a huge supporter of anything "good" in this world, and it was no surprise when she told me the story of her new puppy, Takoda, who was adopted through a rescue in New Mexico. Read Uriell and Tacoma's story below!
"A rescue picked his mom up arrow dn Gallup, NM, and didn't know she was present until she started having puppies a few days later back in CO. One of the things we loved about him at first was that his mom reminded us a lot of Jeff's first dog, Cassidy. The day we got him his foster mom found out that that his only sibling suddenly didn't have the home they thought he was going to, so we called and sent pictures to our best friends Rob and Kim and their two little kiddos adopted his brother Niko, who is best friend and playmate. Right now we are in VT with Takoda, who is learning the ropes from the Someday Farm dogs. Our goal is to train him to be the best trail dog, fishing partner, and cuddle bug there ever was."
